Single session self-esteem teaching resources

Our specially-developed single-session teaching resources contain all the materials you need to run a body confidence workshop in your class, done in one session.

The 45-60 minute Dove Confident Me single-session workshop addresses key topics, including social media, peer pressure, and strategies for promoting and protecting body confidence. Student learning is facilitated through class discussion and small group activities, along with video and activity worksheets to keep students engaged.

The single-session workshop has been independently evaluated by the Center for Appearance Research at the University of the West of England, which has shown that students who participate in Dove Confident Me have experienced higher body confidence and self-esteem, and feel more confident to participate in social and academic activities.

For teachers who wish to explore these topics in more detail, a five-session program is also available. We strongly encourage you to use the five-session resources where possible, as this approach allows for deeper student engagement and is more likely to lead to a long-lasting, greater impact on the body image and self-esteem of your students.
